This discussion will explore how portfolio positioning may adapt across cycles and what investors should anticipate as markets move into 2026. The session will place particular emphasis on strategic allocation and volatility resilience.

Manager, Lipper Research U.S.

Brandon Adkins, serves as the lead for the U.S. and Canadian fund markets within LSEG's Lipper Research team. In this capacity, he oversees fund methodologies, market analytics, and the publication of Lipper Research reports, delivering data-driven insights on mutual funds, ETFs, and broader investment trends.

Prior to LSEG, he spent seven years at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, most recently as an International Investment Manager Selection Analyst and previously as an Associate Portfolio Manager.

Brandon holds a Master of Finance from The Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from American University, and a Bachelor of Science from Coastal Carolina University.

In his spare time, he is actively involved with The Economic Club of New York, where he participates in discussion on global economic, financial, and policy issues.

SVP/Head of Quantitative Investments Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions, Boston, MA.

Adrian Chan is senior vice president and head of quantitative investments for Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. He is responsible for leading the team’s research efforts in quantitative asset allocation, systematic equity strategies and portfolio construction as well as quantitative equity portfolio management and solutions research. As a portfolio manager for the team’s target-date, traditional asset allocation, and multi-asset income strategies, he is responsible for tactical asset allocation decisions, as well as derivatives and volatility strategies, including tail-risk hedging.

Most recently, Mr. Chan served as a portfolio manager within the Global Asset Allocation group at Putnam Investments. He joined Putnam Investments in 2003, where he held various roles including analyst, investment associate, and intern. When Putnam Investments merged with Franklin Templeton, its Global Asset Allocation group combined with Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions.

Mr. Chan holds a bachelor of arts degree in applied mathematics from Harvard University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he focused on finance and entrepreneurial management. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Boston.

CFA, Research Analyst and Co‑Founding Partner at Moerus Capital Management LLC.

Michael has over 18 years of global investment experience, during which he has evaluated investment opportunities across a wide range of industries and geographic markets.

Prior to co-founding Moerus in 2015, Mr. Campagna was a Research Analyst and Consultant at Third Avenue Management LLC, where he worked alongside his Moerus co-founding partners.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Campagna was an investment analyst for JP Morgan Private Bank, where he evaluated and selected money managers for use in high net worth and institutional investment accounts.

Mr. Campagna holds BS degrees in both Finance and Information Systems from New York University. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
