To receive Lipper Fund Awards information, please sign up to the Lipper Fund Awards official distribution list here and be sure to select all award universes you would like to receive Lipper Fund Award information for.

The merit of the winners for Lipper Fund Awards is based on entirely objective, quantitative criteria. There is no nomination process.

The LSEG Lipper Fund Awards are based on the Lipper Leader for Consistent Return rating, which is a risk-adjusted performance measure calculated over 36, 60 and 120 months. The fund with the highest Lipper Leader for Consistent Return (Effective Return) value in each eligible classification wins the LSEG Lipper Fund Award. If the funds are eligible for Lipper Fund Awards, are in our Lipper database and meets all criteria as per methodology, it will be considered.

According to our methodology, if a fund has official sales registration in one of our award universes and is within an eligible classification with at least 3 years track record, it will be taken into consideration in our awards calculations. For funds to be considered, they need to provide their fund/s data to our Lipper Data team (There is no cost associated with this).

Under Lipper Leader ratings, for each measure (Total Return/Consistent Return/Preservation/Expense/Tax Efficiency), funds are rated on a basis of 5 to 1, the highest 20% of funds in each peer group are named Lipper Leaders, the next 20% receive a score of 4, the middle 20% are scored 3, the next 20% are scored 2, and the lowest 20% are scored 1. The most recent ratings can be found on the Lipper fund screener.

Not all funds in Lipper data base are eligible for Lipper Fund Awards: they need to meet criteria as per methodology. Please take time to understand the specific methodology issues and criteria related to each Award Universe by referring to the methodology document.

• Please send your queries to our Lipper Data Team via the MyAccount portal.
• From the Get Support option, click on ‘Get Product and Content Support’ link and then select “I believe content is incorrect or incomplete” when completing the form. Select “LSEG Lipper Investment Management” under product drop down.
• There will be a case number generated and a helpdesk executive will contact you on when they will be able to give you the next update. The helpdesk executive will try answering your query, and if not able to, they will transfer the case to Lipper Data team who will update you directly and guide you through how to set up the funds.

1. Access MyAccount using the link - https://myaccount.lseg.com
2. On MyAccount portal, click on ‘Register’
3. Enter your corporate email address and click ‘Submit’
4. Once you submit, you should receive an email from LSEG almost instantly
5. To complete the registration, click on the link in the e-mail you will receive
6. In the pop-up screen, enter your profile details and click on ‘Submit’ once done
7. Once you have submitted, you will receive a message on screen acknowledging registration. You can expect an email confirming registration in the next 15-20 minutes
8. In the confirmation email, click on the link to create your password and update password
9. Click on ‘Next’ to complete the process. You will now be able to view the landing page for MyAccount – Home screen

Winner results for each award universe are made public on different dates, according to our global awards schedule. The confidential communication sent to winners in each award universe will detail the date the embargo for the results is lifted and when the results can be shared publicly.

Confidential winner notifications are sent separately per award universe on different dates, according to our global awards schedule. Winners are generally awarded in the first half of the year, except the Canadian and Saudi Arabia Awards which take place in November. Winner results are under strict embargo until announced by LSEG. You will be able to search for winners on lipperfundawards.com after the embargo has been lifted. No raw data of the calculations will be published. No correspondence will be entered into.

• United States: The calculation periods are through the end of November of the respective evaluation year.
• Global ex US: The calculation periods are through the end of December of the respective evaluation year.

Exceptions to Global calculations period as per methodology:

• Arabian Markets and Global Islamic: The calculation periods are through the end of November of the respective evaluation year.
• Saudi Arabia: The calculation periods are through to the end of June of the respective evaluation year
• Canada: The calculation periods are through the end of July of the respective evaluation year.

Where can I find my official winning certificate?

Certificates for each award universe are made available for download and printing on lipperfundawards.com. These certificates may only be used in marketing your winning fund/firm in conjunction with a logo license.
